School Book Fair

Attention all book lovers! McMurrich is hosting the Scholastic Book Fair beginning Monday, December 5 through Friday December 9. The Book Fair will be open in the morning from 9:00am – 11:35 am for classes and a time after school for families to come together.  Family hours are Monday after school until 4:00pm, Tuesday after school until 6:00pm and Thursday after school until 4:00pm.

This is a great fundraiser for the school and an opportunity for us to expand and improve the library collection. There will be 50/50 Family Event Prize that all students will be entered in. The winner will receive $25 to spend at the Bookfair and $25 will go to the classroom of the winner.

Teachers will be asked to make a wish list of books to add to their classroom library and this will be made available to families if they wish to participate.

Logistically, this is a bit of an undertaking! As such, I am looking for parent volunteers to help with setup and takedown, as well as running the cash register. Anyone interested in helping is asked to send me an email at Devon.Marshall@tdsb.on.ca.
